Washing street for trucks, the Netherlands

A tailor-made pressure boosting system to wash the undersides of trucks

To be able to clean the undersides of trucks thoroughly, we produced a booster system with a DPVF40/10 with the requirement of around 40m3/h at 20bar.

For every washing street a push button has been created for the user to press when a truck enters the washing street. The pump is then controlled by a PLC while the other washing streets will be blocked. In practice multiple trucks are not often cleaned at the same time.

The system uses rainwater. Tap water only in case of periods with dryness
