The unique design of this two-pump pressure boosting system literally opens up the use of the Cube in series, even in existing buildings. This means the pressure can be returned to the desired level in each pressure zone by a Cube. This method can yield up to 25% energy savings compared to conventional solutions, whereby the pressure from the pressure booster is adapted to the required pressure of the uppermost floor. Often, the pressure zones in the lower floors of a large complex are supplied with an excess of pressure, which needs to be returned to an acceptable level using pressure-reducing valves for the taps in the lower apartments.
